Safety Pin Vest

December 5th 2007 04:28
Continuing the theme of unconventionality, it's worth looking at the kinds of materials popularly used to make clothing.

The thing is, there is rarely any reson that we should be limited in our choice of material. One Material I have experimented with personally - Safety Pins. Here are some images.

This is not something you would commonly be able to wear. It's more for costume purposes. For one, it is technically dangerous pins could spring open for a bit of stabby McStabby pain pain. For another it doesn't feel very nice to wear. But Vrang! it looks awesome.

I originally made it for an art assignment. This is the original artwork in a gallery for the nominated artworks for the Ministers Choice award.
