So, you want to go out to a club but there’s a problem – you’re too young/adverse to dickheads/not into the scene of local clubs/picky etc. So what to do?
Why not make your own? After all, isn’t a night at a club a bit like a party at someone else’s house? But with more dickheads?
First thing you need is a location. A club after all, is a word denoting a place. Your house will work if you can do a good enough job of making it feel like a confined space.
Second thing you will need is a vibe. Sleazy? Angry? Chilled out? Psyched out? Trippy? There are a lot of things you can do to get the vibe you want, including use of props, colour and music.
Third thing you will need is ‘doing’. People need to be occupied. Whether it is drinking, computer games or playing cards that if your poison, you need to keep your people occupied.
Fourth and final thing you need is people – and the you’ve got it! Your own club!
